Adventure Club of the University of Kelaniya is the most recent but most organized adventure society in the University of Kelaniya. Throughout our history, we have effectively contributed to creating environmental awareness and safety among university students and the general community. The club operates beyond any borders.
Students from all six faculties of the University of Kelaniya are gathered here to share their passion for the outdoors. In the Adventure Club, there is no discrimination against anyone, whether it's gender, race, religion, or anything else. We have undergraduates from every corner of the country and no matter where you are from, all are welcome. Adventure Club is more than just a club. It is a family.
Adventure Club - UoK is the only students’ association offering lifetime membership for students. Any member of the club can come back to the club at any time and do adventurers with the current students of the club. However, the membership procedure is very different than any other society. Participants are evaluated critically. Often behavior, love for the outdoors, the spirit of being a family are common determinants of membership evaluation. But no gender, race, or any other discriminating properties of the participants are valid in the evaluation.
